11-09-2008 | The 30th of September the names of archiwinners will become clear.

The IIId International architectural competition “Office space: creativity, technologies, and innovations” is passing into the conclusive stage. The 19th of September, 2008 there will be opened the long-expected exhibition of competitive projects. According to the tradition it will take place in the Union of architects of Russia to the following address: 12, Granatniy side street, Moscow.

After the presentation of works in accordance with Constitution, more than 100 works will be showed in the following nominations:

• archiembodiment
• archisolution
• archicrosswall

All persons interested will be able to see the works of the present competitors as till the 30th of September the exhibition will be opened. For those who can’t visit CAP, a virtual exhibition will be started up in the portal of competition www.archiconcurs.ru. from the 19th of September. Moreover it will be possible to vote in the site for the project you like the most and to choose the winner of the audience’ sympathy Award. The conditions of the competition are those that the names of the authors of the projects are hidden till the 30th of September for the guests and also for the members of the jury.

The works will acquire the “authorship” only after the voting of the judges which will take place the 30th of September, 2008. By the way, the jury will give the verdict in more extended number that was supposed before. In the course of the year the expert commission was consisted of such famous architects as: Sergey Tchoban – the head of the architectural bureau “nps tchoban voss (Berlin), the partner of the association “Speech” (Moscow) and Luciano Capaldo – the president RICS in Europe, the honorable member of Royal society of Art of Great Britain. The names of the winners of the competition will be traditionally known in award presentation that will take place the 18th of October this year during the festival activity “Art of building 2008”.

The exhibition will last from the 19th till 30th of September 2008 to the address: 12, Granatniy side street, Moscow. Work hours: from 10 till 19.
