20-10-2008 | The ceremony of awarding the winners of the III Archicontest

Last Saturday, October,18, the ceremony of awarding the winners of the IIIrd International Contest “Office space: creative, technologies, innovations” has taken place. Diplomas and figurines of Archicontest were awarded traditionally at the festival “Architecture” in the central show-room “Maneg”.

Like last year, the jury had prepared a lot of surprises to the participants, in distributing prises and nominations. Therefore, in nomination Archyincarnation (that represented realized projects) there appear to be only two prise places instead of three, notably two second places.

And the nomination Archidecision not only have demonstrated wide implementation of the partitions NAYADA (their use was obligatory in this nomination), but also have shown the most popular and interesting nomination for the jury this year. The number of figurines in Archidecision has grown for 4.

Though the number of premiums in the most popular, with regard of the works offered, nomination, corresponded the rules – that is three, places were appointed non as usual: one first and two thirds. Apart from the diplomas and figurines of Archicontest, the participants of a project were awarded the prises of the mass-media sponsors and partners of a contest. And unlike the last year, where the choice of mass-media have coinsided with the opinion of the competent jury, this time the representatives of architectural editions have pointed out some new projects.

Some winners were invited to the scene more than once. Thus, Sergey Nasedkin got two figurines: one of them in nomination Archidecision, and another for a project in nomination Archipartition. The president of the jury, Yurij Sdobnov have mentioned :”A good preparation is seen”. Because Sergei Nasedkin and Anna Ulianova, another winner of the IIIrd Archicontest, have had been the winners two years ago, and were awarded the first prise in nomination Archidecision for a project “Financial editorial house””Delovoj Ekspress”.

The same way, two architectors from Saratov – the authors of a project “Cheese” Andrey Cherdakov and Ekaterina Savenkova, went at the scene for two times for the prises of mass-media sponsors.
